Your life as a meditation

Many of you know I have started our first meditation circle which is a 21 day meditation circle via teleconference.

I started this to “make” myself develop the habit of meditation and to help others do the same.

It’s day 16 now and I can finally say that it’s amazing how I notice that my mind is less active with thought and I’m able to be more fully in the moment.

And it’s amazing how people respond.  I was grocery shopping yesterday, just walking around, fully in the moment.  (Maybe even tranced out, as I thought about it later).  And people everywhere were smiling at me.  Everyone that walked by me smiled.  I smiled back and didn’t give it much thought.

Then as I was walking out to the car, I was noticing the beautiful sky.  Then suddenly, my mind had the thought, “You have gone a long time without thought.”  Then I realized that up until then I hadn’t been “thinking” yet being in the moment.

This is the true benefit of meditation.  Allowing you to be fully “present” with your energy focused inward, even while you’re doing “outward” duties.

Anyway, just wanted to share the enormous benefits of meditaiton.  Once you start living from the inside out, your life becomes a living meditation.
