New adventure

I heard about a CURRENT TV contest called “Seeds of Tolerance.”  It is a contest where you make a 5-10 minute movie about tolerance.

As a screenwriter and also an author on inner peace and world peace, I felt this was right up my alley!

So, I put together a script, had my mother-in-law film it, found an editor  (Special thanks to Lesley Wise at www.imagewiseproductions.com) and made a movie.

I am submitting it to the contest tomorrow evening.  It’s a great message and I am confident that it will be seen by many people!

At one point during the making of the movie, I was stumped because I wanted to use a photo montage of people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, etc. but found that most pictures were copyright protected.

So I realized that I have an international database of contacts at this site, so I sent out a mass email requesting photos and the response was enormous.  (Thank you to all who responded and/or submitted photos!)

I got the photos I needed and it is a wonderful movie with a positive message.

I’ll send out an announcement and post the *link* here on viewing information after I submit it to the contest.

It really was a fun project.  I enjoyed the movie making process.  Though it was a lot of work…

 Peace,

Lisa
